We use our indirectly heated drum dryers for energy-efficient and gentle drying of yeast.

With this particular type of dryer, the yeast is located under a rotating cylinder from which a thin yeast coat is picked up. This yeast coat is then dried during a single turn of the cylinder and scraped off by using a knife.

Brewer’s yeast with relative moisture contents between 75 and 85% can be dried and packed into storable bags.
